Dóchas linn Naomh Pádraig
Cúnamh chugainn a Phádraig
Aspal mór na hÉireann.
Ainm oirirc glégeal
Sólás mór an tsaoil é.
Sé a chloigh na draoithe,
Croíthe dúra gan aon mhaith.
D’ísligh dream an díomais,
Trí neart Dé ár dtréanfhlaith.
Sléibhte, gleannta, mánna
‘S bailte móra na hÉireann,
Ghlan sé iad go deo dúinn,
Míle glóir dár Naomh dhíl.
Iarraimid ort, a Phádraig
Guí orainne, Gaela,
Dia linn lá is oíche
‘S Pádraig Aspal Éireann

I wish he were alive today. I’d ask him to go to Washington via London to do his thing with the snakes again.

good to see you here Mark!
having flashbacks as I watch the Parisian students in the streets on tv and try to get an overdue work project written up before heading to the streets here this evening.

I’ll be back only intermittently for a week or two Siun. I’ve been warned that overdoing it was what was holding up the the process of recovering from the various injuries and regaining some stamina and that as I’m now several decades older than one I shouldn’t expect to heal like a 16 year old boy. [I of course deny behaving like a 16 year old boy which is my way of saying to everyone “don’t you start” *G*] In the meantime the place is in good hands :-)

Good to “hear” your voice again, Mark. Take it easy and all the best.

Nice to ’see’ you posting again - and yeah we will survive until you return Mark. The turn-out at the marches in California were smaller than I had hoped. Saw an interesting piece on C-SPAn yesterday by the authors of Cobra II - the Iraq situation is worse than we imagined. Slight comfort today in that W’s ratings are at an all time low (36%) - can the rest of the country actually be paying attention?

Hear you are pretending to be sick and slacking off. Cut it out and get back to work, the world needs you healthy and whole :)
